Police are investigating after a man made "racially-aggravated" comments to a three-year-old girl at a shopping centre.

Avon and Somerset Police said a man approached a mother on East Walk at Yate Shopping Centre, near Bristol, on 29 September and made racist comments while gesturing towards her child, who is of dual heritage.

Police said the woman told him to stop before walking away.

CCTV footage was released of a man earlier who officers have now traced. They say the investigation into the incident "continues".
