The next stage of major roadworks to increase capacity at a junction has started.

Progress on Wokingham Borough Council's South Wokingham Distributor Road project means Finchampstead Road in Wokingham is closed between Molly Millars Lane and Tangley Drive. That work is expected to run until mid-March.

Finchampstead Road is now open north of the railway bridge after previous closures. Overnight closures will be in place for about a fortnight before the new roundabout at the site is fully open.

Temporary traffic calming measures, including speed bumps and a 20mph speed limit, are in place on Eastheath Avenue, but are not part of the official diversion route.
