Dashcam appeal after woman in her 80s hit by van

A pedestrian in her 80s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a van in Derby.

Derbyshire Police issued an appeal on Sunday after the woman was hit by a white Nissan van.

It happened at the crossroads of High Street and Swarkestone Road, in Chellaston, just after 17:00 BST on Wednesday.

The force urged people in the area at the time with dashcam footage or other information to get in touch.
