Overturned lorry shuts A35 near Bere Regis

A stretch of a major route through Dorset has been closed both ways after a lorry overturned in the early hours.

The vehicle travelling on the A35 near Bere Regis left the carriageway shortly before 02:00 GMT.

The road is closed from Poole Hill through to Sugar Hill at Lower Woodbury with drivers urged to use alternative routes.

Dorset Police said no injuries had been reported and no arrests made.
