A teenager has denied murdering a 16-year-old boy outside a railway station in Sussex.

The 16-year-old defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty at Lewes Crown Court to murdering Joshua Ingram at Seaford railway station on 10 September last year.

Joshua, from Newhaven, died after being stabbed in the back and side outside the railway station, the court heard.

The teenage defendant also denied conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) but admitted having a knife on the day Joshua was killed.

Two other boys, aged 14 and 16, have already denied conspiracy to commit GBH with intent.

A trial is expected in the summer.
