Three teenage boys have appeared in court after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death outside a railway station.

Joshua Ingram, 16, from Newhaven, died after being stabbed in the back and side outside Seaford train station on 10 September.

At Lewes Crown Court earlier, a 16-year-old boy facing a murder charge appeared alongside two other boys, aged 14 and 16, who denied conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. They cannot be named for legal reasons.

An inquest, which was opened and adjourned, previously heard Joshua died from a haemorrhage caused by a stab wound to the heart.

A trial is expected in the new year.
