A section of the A27 in West Sussex has been reopened after a lorry overturned in the early hours.

The eastbound carriageway between Arundel and Worthing was shut after the vehicle crashed near Angmering just after 03:30 BST.

The closure caused delays, and Sussex Police had advised drivers find alternative routes.

National Highways said on X, formerly Twitter, there were "no residual delays on the approach".

Emergency services were at the scene but no injuries have been reported.

Separate road closures for water main repairs at Long Furlong on the A280 and Titnore Lane are also causing delays.
