Man in court after £430,000 cannabis cultivation found

A man has appeared in court after a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of more than £400,000 was found in a Moray town.

Police said officers acting on intelligence attended a property on East Church Street in Buckie and carried out a search on Tuesday morning.

Drugs said to be worth £430,000 were discovered.

Tuan Ngyan, 30, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court charged with drugs offences. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
