Overnight road closure for two weeks in town

A major road in Shrewsbury will be closed overnight for two weeks.

Part of Welshpool Road in the town will shut from 19:00 BST until 06:00 BST from the 27 April until 10 May, for work around the Euro Garages development.

New connections will be installed during the work to various utilities, followed by the resurfacing of the road.

The closure will be on the section beyond the Gains Park Way junction, towards the Churncote roundabout, with access to Gains Park Way remaining open with a diversion route signposted.
