Girl, 13, remains under investigation for murder

A girl arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 55-year-old woman remains under investigation but is no longer on bail.

Sarah Forrester died at her home in Baydon Close in Moredon, Swindon, on 21 November 2025.

A 13-year-old girl was later arrested on suspicion of murder and was released on bail while investigations continued.

Wiltshire Police said the teenager, who cannot be named due to her age, had been released from bail but remained under investigation.

A spokesperson for the force added that there were "no developments" to report in the case.

Forrester worked as a counsellor at The Kelly Foundation, a Swindon charity which supports individuals with severe anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

Her loved ones described her as a "thoughtful, considerate and caring" woman who often put others before herself.
