Firefighters are tackling a blaze that broke out in a home's roof, a fire service has said.

Two roads have been closed and residents have been urged to avoid Pinehurst Road in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) said both Pinehurst Road and Whitworth Road are shut and advised neighbours to keep their doors and windows closed.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that no-one has been injured in the incident.

Three fire engines parked on a road in Swindon. Two firefighters are in between two of the fire engines.
