Firearms officers called to knife brawl in supermarket car park

Firearms officers were called to reports of a group of men brandishing knives at each other in a supermarket car park in Edinburgh.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance near Asda in The Jewel area at about 16:20 on Wednesday.

Footage, shared by the Scottish Sun, shows a group of around six masked men fighting each other. One is holding a large knife, while another appears to be holding a machete.

There was no reports of any injuries and none of the men has been traced.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said inquiries are ongoing.

Asda has been approached for comment.
