Police are asking anyone with information to come forward following the assault last month

A woman kissed a teenage girl and then grabbed her as she waited at a bus stop.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said it received a report the woman had approached the 13-year-old girl and kissed her on the cheek without her consent at about 07:10 GMT on Tuesday 10 February.

She then grabbed her by the arm as she attemped to board the bus at the Pirton Lane bus stop opposite the Esso garage in Churchdown near Gloucester.

A 37-year-old woman from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female in connection with the incident but she was later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Investigating officers are now asking anyone who was in the area and saw what happened or has any information to make contact with the force.
