Renewed appeal to find mother missing for 10 years
Missing PeopleThe family of a woman who went missing ten years ago have appealed again for information about her whereabouts.
Fatima Mohamed-Ali, a mother-of-three, was last pictured on CCTV at about 08:00 GMT on 12 February 2016 on Avis Road in Newhaven, East Sussex - a 15-minute walk from her home.
Her husband Mohamed Mohamed-Ali said the family had "lost a good wife, a mother and a grandmother".
Sussex Police Det Insp Daniel Dugan said the force had "worked tirelessly to locate her and provide her family with the answers they deserve" since the disappearance.
Mohamed-Ali was aged 52 when she went missing and was described as having a slim build, brown eyes, and black shoulder-length hair often worn in a ponytail.
The 5ft 2in Indian woman was seen on CCTV wearing black boots and a beige coat, possibly with a traditional sari underneath.
Missing PeopleHer husband last saw her 30 minutes before she was captured by cameras, according to charity Missing People.
The organisation encouraged anyone with information about the disappearance to contact its helpline.
"Fatima, if you are reading this, please get in touch," Missing People publicity officer Ndella Senghore said.
"We just want to provide you with the support you need and help you to be safe."
Dugan said "extensive inquiries" had taken place since Mohamed-Ali disappeared, and Sussex Police's investigation was "reviewed regularly by a senior investigating officer".
"The investigation remains open, and we will always follow up any new lines of inquiry," he said.
"We are continuing to appeal for information relating to Fatima's disappearance."
