Man in his sixties dies after lorry crash
BBCA man in his sixties has died after he was hit by a lorry.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the A4 Bath Road in Marlborough, Wiltshire, after reports of the crash at 10.40 GMT.
The man, thought to be a pedestrian, was declared dead at the scene and the road remains closed while investigation work is carried out.
Wiltshire Police said no arrests have been made and confirmed the driver of the lorry stopped following the crash, which took place close to Marlborough College.
The force said enquiries are ongoing to establish his next of kin.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: "We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance, and a rapid response vehicle to the scene."
