Runners were seen passing West Park just outside of the city centre.
The charity event saw people flock to Wolverhampton to take part and offer support to runners.

Thousands of runners took to the streets of Wolverhampton as part of a charity 10km race.

The Wolverhampton 10k, organised by RunThrough, took place on Sunday and led entrants through the city, starting and ending at Molineux Stadium.

Organisers partnered up with the Wolverhampton palliative care provider Compton Care as the official charity for the event.

About 2,000 people took part to raise money for charity, organisers said.
