A man in his 20s has been found dead on the Isles of Scilly, police have confirmed.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police said they were called to Back Lane Tresco at 10:25 BST on Tuesday "following concern for the welfare of a man".

"Sadly the man in his 20s was pronounced deceased at the scene," they said.

Police said his death was not being treated as suspicious and a file would be prepared for the coroner.
