Free breakfast clubs for five more schools
BBCFive Telford primary schools are to begin hosting free breakfast clubs.
Breakfast clubs see children dropped off at school early and given a "healthy, varied and nutritious breakfast" before the school day starts.
Holmer Lake, John Randall, Windmill Primary, Woodlands Primary and William Reynolds will now also host the clubs, joining Lawley Primary School, which started the scheme last year.
"It is our ambition to have every single primary school in this scheme over the next few years, these schools are what we're calling early adopters," said Telford MP, Shaun Davies.
"As a result of this most recent announcement, there will be 2,000 children every single day from April in Telford alone getting an offer of a free breakfast."
Labour campaigned on a promise of free breakfast clubs in every English primary school and later tripled funding to £30m.
