Girl in critical condition after road incident

The incident happened on the Larne Road in Carrickfergus

A child is in critical condition following a collision in County Antrim.

Police said the incident, involving a young girl and a blue Hyundai car, happened at about 20:55 BST on Thursday on the Larne Road, Carrickfergus.

The girl was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said inquiries are ongoing.
