Murder probe as man stabbed on New Year's Eve
BBCA murder investigation is under way after a man was stabbed to death minutes before the new year began.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Tarn Drive in Bury at 23:55 GMT on Wednesday.
Officers found a man in his 20s with stab wounds, who died at the scene despite the efforts of the emergency services.
A man and woman in their 20s have both been arrested on suspicion of murder and are being questioned by detectives.
A blue forensic tent is visible on a driveway at a property near the junction with Windermere Drive, which is cordoned off.
A spokesperson for GMP urged anyone with information about the man's death to get in touch.
