Drivers warned of Peterborough roundabout works

Motorists have been warned to plan ahead if travelling to a shopping centre in Peterborough because of roadworks.

Part of Fletton Parkway will be closed to all road users, except those requiring access to properties, from Tuesday onward.

Peterborough City Council said the westbound entrance and exit slip-roads at junction three for Serpentine Green shopping centre, in Hampton, would be closed for most of the week.

A diversion will be in place, but it is anticipated that traffic will build up at peak times and could cause delays.

According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the restrictions will remain effective for five days.
