Two more people have been arrested as part of an investigation into a violent £1m burglary at a house in Kimberley.

Nottinghamshire Police previously said a man was assaulted with a sledgehammer and his wife dragged upstairs after five masked men smashed their way into a property off Knowle Lane on 4 December 2025.

Four men, 18, 21, 23, 24, and a woman, 33, were arrested as part of the investigation in February and have since been released on conditional bail.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery on Friday, while a 31-year-old man was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both have since been released on conditional bail.

A number of high-value watches were taken during the burglary

Police previously said watches and designer handbags from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Jimmy Choo and Dior were among the luxury items taken.

The most distinctive is a white Chanel Boy handbag, available only from Milan, police said.

The bag is made of quilted white leather and police said it was unique due to it having a rigid top handle with Chanel written across it.

It is not a variant that can be brought from the UK, the force added.

As well as watches, the thieves took other high-value items including handbags

The offenders also took a mobile phone and a purse containing bank cards.

At the time, police said the items taken and the damage caused to the property was close to £1m.

In a renewed appeal for information on Monday, Det Con James Gill said: "While we have now made seven arrests so far in our investigation, we are still keen to hear from anyone with any information who has not yet spoken to us as this could really help us with our ongoing inquiries."
