Woman hit by car suffers life-threatening injuries

A pedestrian has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.

The woman, in her 40s, was struck by a white Vauxhall Mokka in Church Way, Doncaster, near to the junction with High Fisher Gate at about 16:10 GMT on Saturday.

South Yorkshire Police said the woman was taken to hospital following the incident.

Anyone with information about the collision, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened, is asked to contact the force.
