A woman and two teenagers were arrested after the incident

A woman and two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy suffered facial injuries in an assault.

The victim was treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after being beaten and threatened with a knife in a park on Gloucester's St Oswalds Road at about 18:00 GMT on Wednesday 7 January, police said.

A 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and a 33-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have been released on police bail.

Gloucestershire Constabulary has urged anyone who witnessed what happened to call police.
