All-rounder Liam Scott will be unavailable for Gloucestershire's opening games of the T20 Blast after being called up to Australia's side for their upcoming tours of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The 25-year-old had signed to play in this season's Blast, as well as two County Championships matches.

Australia's schedule includes six one-day internationals - three in Pakistan and three in Bangladesh - from 30 May to 14 June, which means Scott will not be available until Gloucestershire's County Championship match against Worcestershire on 19 June.

He will miss the start of the T20 campaign at home to Warwickshire on 22 May as well as games away at Glamorgan, Northamptonshire and Yorkshire and at home to Somerset and Worcestershire, plus the County Championship match at Northamptonshire, starting on 12 June.

Scott, spinner Joel Davies and batter Ollie Peake, the Australia under-19s captain, are the three uncapped players named in the squads.
