Gloucestershire sign Scott for 2026 Blast

Gloucestershire have signed Australian all-rounder Liam Scott for the 2026 T20 Blast campaign.

The 24-year-old represents South Australia and Adelaide Strikers in his home country and will also be available for two County Championship matches next June.

Gloucestershire director of cricket Jon Lewis said:, external "He's a cricketer whose stock is on the rise and is highly regarded across Australia.

"We've done extensive research into the best young all-rounders available, and adding a third overseas player with a different skillset will help balance our T20 squad throughout the tournament."

Scott was awarded player of the tournament for Australia's One-Day Cup in 2024-25, during a breakthrough season that saw South Australia clinch the title.

In the Big Bash League he hit a high of 67 from 43 balls for Adelaide Strikers against Perth Scorchers, including four fours and five sixes.

Scott said he was "delighted" to join the club.

"The club has a rich history of quality Australian overseas players, and I am very much hoping to add to that and help bring success to the club," he said.
