Stephen Park died following a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday

Police investigating the death of a motorcyclist following a multi-vehicle collision near Halifax have released a picture of him.

Stephen Park, 78, from Brighouse, died after falling off his Harley Davidson near the quarry in Brookfoot Lane, Southowram, shortly before 12:30 GMT on Saturday, West Yorkshire Police said.

The drivers of three other vehicles, a silver Ford Transit van with livery on it, a silver Mercedes SLK and a grey Audi A1, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They have since been released on bail pending further inquiries, a police spokesperson confirmed on Sunday.

According to police, the three vehicles had been travelling towards Brighouse when they came into contact with Park, who was travelling in the opposite direction.

It is believed the cars and van had been involved in an incident just prior to the collision.

Police said multiple inquiries continued to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
