Public toilets in a north Devon town have been shut due to vandalism, the council said.

In a social media post on Monday, North Devon Council (NDC) said the toilets were closed due to the incident at Wilder Road, Ilfracombe.

It said it was "extremely disappointed" and warned of a reduced capacity while repairs were carried out.

Pictures of the vandalism show damage to the hand washing facility.
