Using his 1879 Appleton's General Guide to the United States, on this leg he’s journeying from Missouri to Tennessee. Along the way he ascends the St Louis Gateway Arch, joins a baseball team, chases storms in Tornado Alley and experiences one of the greatest sights on earth: The Grand Canyon.
