Singing in the shower!

My Rugby League supporting career started with my dad taking me to the Grand Final in 1998 – I was aged 10 and I remember my Rugby League hero was Jason Robinson, who scored one of the famous Rugby League tries and from that day I was hooked!

I was the loudest supporter in the stadium when the All Golds crashed over in the last minute!

From there, I went to support and do the score board for a few years at local amateur side Gloucester Warriors. Then, when I heard the RFL was adding new professional expansion teams and one was Gloucestershire, I jumped at the chance to support them.

After two years, I decided to start a Supporters Group that was launched in July 2015 and is growing on social media and gaining interest locally in Gloucestershire. This year, I’ve been supporting the All Golds home and away – being the loudest supporter in the stadium when the All Golds crashed over in the last minute to win the Challenge Cup Round 3 game at North Wales Crusaders!

Supporting the All Golds up and down the country comes with a lot of banter with other supporters of Rugby League, normally due to how many supporters we have – sometimes it’s just me! It doesn’t stop me getting passionate about my team when a try is scored for the All Golds.
