Singing Experience
She was a member of Wigan Junior Youth Choir whilst at primary school.

Molly is not your typical 12-year-old girl!

Her phone is full of selfies with the players.

She is passionate about Rugby League and Leigh Centurions, a season ticket holder at home game and a regular at away games. She loves the athleticism of the players, admires their bravery and learns about discipline and respect through attending games. Harrison Hansen is her favourite player and she was thrilled when he recently signed her shirt. Her love for the game is visible on her phone – full of “selfies” with the players taken when they come and thank the fans after each match. As a family sport, we love the camaraderie between players and fans and as a parent can’t thank the players enough for the time they give to kids after a demanding 80-minute match.

Molly’s second love is singing and dancing. This started in year one at primary school when she decided she wanted to sing Castle On A Cloud from Les Miserables in the school talent show. Following this, she spent 4 happy years as a member of Wigan Junior Youth Choir, attending practices on Thursday evenings and performing many concerts around the borough, but the undoubted highlight was when they sang at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the School’s Prom. She was also selected as a soloist at the Let’s Sing music festival at Robin Park in front of over 1000 spectators.

Rugby and singing are the perfect combination for Molly. As a Championship club, Wembley is just a dream and we talk regularly about what it must have been like when Leigh graced the hallowed turf of Wembley back in 1971. She would be extremely proud and honoured if she was chosen to represent Leigh at Wembley as a member of the fans choir.
