Isle of Man's ferry Manxman cancels services after fault
The Isle of Man's newest passenger ferry has had to return to Douglas after a technical fault developed during a trip.
The 09:06 BST service on the Manxman had set off for Heysham, Lancashire, before turning back.
Sunday afternoon's service on the vessel has also been cancelled.
Travellers have been urged to contact the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company's reservations team for alternative arrangements.
The Manxman is the firm's largest ferry, taking over from the Ben-my-Chree as the island's main passenger ferry.
The £78m vessel arrived in Manx waters on 2 July and made its maiden voyage in August.
