Bereaved mother wants tougher drink-drive penalties
The mother of a teenager who died in a crash with a drink-driver is calling for harsher penalties for repeat offenders.
Aidan Venison was killed on his motorcycle in the head-on collision near Wisborough Green, West Sussex in June 2024.
His mother Tracy wants to see those convicted for drink-driving receive a disqualification for life.
She said she was "appalled" by the eight-year sentence given to the driver who killed her son.
