Watch: Moment snowboarder is rescued from stuck chairlift
Fourteen people were safely lowered from the stuck chairlift after a power outage hit Sunburst Ski Area in the US state of Wisconsin on 1 December. The Kewaskum Fire Department and Sunburst personnel worked together completing the operation in about 40 minutes. No injuries were reported. According to the fire department, they had finished their annual training for rope chair rescues less than two weeks earlier.
