Man spotted skiing down residential street

Storm Goretti caused travel chaos and disruption around the country, but one man found a way to make the most of the wintry conditions.

Russ White filmed one of his neighbours attempting to ski down Buckingham Road in Coalville, Leicestershire, on Friday morning.

"I didn't quite believe it myself and shouted out the window to him," Mr White said.

"He shouted back 'well, you've got to make the most of it while you can'."
