Fast-moving wildfires rage across southwestern US

Fast-moving grassfires have ignited in Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado amid extreme winds and critically low humidity. The Ranger Road Fire has burned approximately 15,000 acres in the Oklahoma Panhandle. Officials have begun evacuations in southwest Kansas and northwest Oklahoma, with law enforcement closing several roads.

The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch, warning that critical fire weather conditions could develop in the next 12 to 72 hours.

The County Road 169 Fire has burned at least 10,000 acres.
