Armed robber gets trapped inside shop during raid

An armed robber who became trapped inside a Coventry shop he tried to rob has been jailed.

Jordan Peebles threatened a shop worker with a knife before the worker managed to escape and shut the shutters, locking Peebles inside as he tried to steal goods.

The 32-year-old was arrested when police arrived and has now been jailed for four years and four months after admitting robbery.
