Celebrating Stoke-on-Trent's bottle ovens

Bottle ovens were once part of every pottery factory in Stoke-on-Trent and have come to symbolise the city's ceramics heritage.

Many have disappeared over the years, but those that remain are all protected and one ceramicist has just completed a tour celebrating each one.
