Everton fan's toaster and crumpets celebration goes viral

A man has gone viral for celebrating Everton's 3–0 win over Chelsea at Hill Dickinson stadium with a toaster and packet of crumpets.

Matty Byrne, now dubbed "Toaster Man" was spotted cheering with the boxed electrical appliance, which he said was a wedding gift for friends along with the crumpets to go with it.

"I was going to a wedding that night," he said. "I didn't want to leave it in the boozer, so I decided just walk in with it."

Every time the Blues scored, the toaster was tossed into the air and surrounding fans wanted to join in.
