Watch: Groceries remain on shelves after tornado rips roof off supermarket

Aerial footage shows many of the groceries in this supermarket remain on the shelves even after a tornado ripped its roof off in Lake Village, Indiana.

The town was hit by winds of up to 150 mph (241.4 km/h), which is categorised as an EF-3 on the Enhanced Fujita scale, according to the National Weather Service.

The Fujita scale classifies tornadoes from zero to five using estimated wind speeds and related damage.

The severe storm system caused widespread damage in Illinois and Indiana where two people were killed.
