Wolves chairman Jeff Shi speaks to BBC about summer transfer mistakes

In an exclusive interview with the BBC, Wolverhampton Wanderers executive chairman Jeff Shi has admitted the club "maybe sold too many players in one window".

It comes as the club sits at the bottom of the Premier League with just two points and have not won in the top flight since April.

Wolves fans have declared there will be more protests over the way the club is being run, following their first partial boycott of a game on Monday where supporters stayed outside Molineux for the first 15 minutes of the game against Manchester United.

Speaking to BBC Radio WM, Shi said: "It's a task to rebuild a team but the Premier League is very tough. If you can't control the tempo and need a longer time to rebuild the team the games will punish you."
