In pictures: Cardiff Half Marathon 2019
BBCA record 27,500 runners have taken on the third biggest running event in the UK.
For the first time in the event's 17 year-history, more women than men lined up at the start line of the Cardiff Half Marathon.
Leonard Langat won the Cardiff Half men's race in a course record of 59:29, and Lucy Cheruiyot won the women's race in 01:08:19.
Female runners made up 51% of the total entry this year.
