Man charged with murder following incident at Govan flat

A man has appeared in court charged with murder following a death in a Glasgow flat.

Police were called to an address in Summertown Path, Govan, at 00:30 on Monday after reports of an incident.

A 33-year-old man was found injured in the property. He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but died a short time later.

Reece Sweeney, 21, made no plea when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with murder.

He was remanded in custody.
