Antrim: Man injured after bullet fired into home

A 36-year-old man has suffered a gunshot wound to his chest after a bullet was fired through the front door of a house in Antrim.

It happened at Greenpark Drive shortly after 22:30 GMT on Sunday.

The man has been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information about the attack to contact them.

They are keen to hear from anyone who was in the areas of Greenpark Drive, Lough Road and Dublin Road at the time of the shooting.
