An 18-year-old man has died after a "serious" road crash in which his car hit a tree.

Suffolk police were called to reports of a single-vehicle collision in Summer Road, Hepworth, near Stanton, at 10:25 GMT on Friday.

The driver was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with life-threatening injuries but has since died.

Officers have appealed for anybody with information or footage to contact them.
