Further arrests in Rotherham murder inquiry

Police launched a murder inquiry after a man was found dead at a property on Redscope Crescent, Kimberworth

Two further arrests have been made by officers investigating the death of a man in Rotherham.

Officers were called to a property in Redscope Crescent on Wednesday where a man was found with serious injuries and later pronounced dead.

South Yorkshire Police said a man, 46, had been arrested on suspicion of murder and a woman, 43, detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A woman, 43, and man, 42, remain in custody on suspicion of murder.

The force has appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
