Murderer Scarlet Blake told police 'at least it's not genocide'
A woman found guilty of murdering a man found dead in a river was heard to say "at least it's not genocide" after being arrested by police.
Scarlet Blake, 26, was asking for nicotine patches when captured on body-worn police footage.
She later answered "no comment" to all of the questions in her police interview.
The body of Jorge Martin Carreno was pulled from the River Cherwell in Oxford, in July 2021.
The trial heard Ms Blake came to the UK from China aged nine, and came out to her parents as transgender at 12.
She said it "made my father really unhappy and my mother as well" and "caused a large emotional rift".
