Great Doddington man arrested after 2,000 cannabis plants found

A man has been arrested after more than 2,000 cannabis plants were found during raids on five properties.

The man, who is 48 and from Great Doddington, near Wellingborough, was detained on suspicion of producing a Class B drug,

The arrest followed Northamptonshire Police raids at four location in Wellingborough and one in the nearby village of Great Addington.

The arrested man was released on bail pending further inquiries.
