A man who suffered life-threatening head injuries in an incident near a pub a week ago has died.

Police were called to Station Road in Thorpe Market, Norfolk, at 18:00 BST on Friday 17 September, after an altercation near the Suffield Arms.

A man in his 50s was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and died on Thursday.

A man in his 40s, arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault, remains on police bail.
