A stolen mobile shower unit for people who have no access to other facilities has been found in east London.

The Showerbox trailer contained a stock of underwear, hygiene supplies and other items earmarked for homeless people.

It was taken last week from Segro Park in Canning Town and found on Tuesday on nearby Cody Road.

One tyre has burst and shredded but everything is still inside, the charity's founder Sarah Lamptey said.

Ms Lamptey previously described the theft as "a devastating setback".

"We are so busy now and many, many individuals rely on our service each week," she said.

The charity sets up in the grounds of St Giles-in-the-Fields Church, near Tottenham Court Road, on Saturday mornings.
